The winery Piè di colle is located in Val di Chiana, one of the most important agricultural areas ofTuscany. For over two thousand years, already at the time of the Etruscans and the Roman Empire, the Val di Chiana has been known for fertility of its landsand today the genuineness of local products it is recognized and exported all over the world: vineyards, olive trees, barley, wheat, maize are just some of the numerous crops found in this area.
The mild climate for most of the year it favors crops from March to October and is theideal for the cultivation of vineyards.

Piè di Colle lies at the foot of the slopes that surroundCivitella in Val di Chiana and, with an extension of about 10 hectares, occupies the westernmost part of the Val di Chiana. The area has characteristics that favor the natural growth of our vines: a height of about 300 meters. s.l.m., a slight inclination towards the southeast, a unpolluted agricultural land, well balanced soils rich in nutrients.
