Piè di Colle is a young and dynamics winery which has been producing DOCG and PGI quality wines for over 10 years.
The company, mainly family-run, expresses a strong link with the territory and combining tradition of the ancient Tuscan winemaking techniques, to those more modern and at the forefront. Each stage of wine production, from the cultivation of the vines to the final bottling, is followed with passion andcarefully.
Piè di Colle awaits you at its own winery for the organized events or by tasting of its wines.
The company
Located on the slopes of the Arezzo hills at 300 meters above sea level, Piè di Colle extends for about 10 ha in Tuscany, near Civitella in Val di Chiana. The vines grown are Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot all rigorously trained in Guyot: the low yieldsand a selection made at the time of harvest exclusively by hand, ensure that only bunches of healthy and intact grapes arrive in the cellar, a necessary condition for the realization of a excellent wine.

Who we are?
Piè di Colle was born thanks to the passion for wine of Dario Giani which in 2004 found the ideal soil to create the vineyards, the cellar and the rest of the company: over the years, step by step and always with a eye on tradition, from a small local company Piè di Colle has also gained its space in the wine world of excellence, proposing itself to the public as guarantee of excellent wines Tuscan.
Today, thanks to the help of the children Marta and Filippo Giani and to the collaboration of external professionals, such as the agronomist and oenologistDr. Vincenzo Tommasi, the company produces quality Chianti Riserva, Chianti DOCG and IGP wines exported to Europe and the world.
Giani Marta, laureata in agraria, è oggi la titolare dell’azienda e, durante tutto l’anno, segue con attenzione la crescita dei vigneti, le fasi di produzione del vino e i rapporti con la clientela italiana ed estera.
